Since its official opening on May 22, 1937, St. John's Rehab Hospital has evolved to become a regional rehabilitation teaching hospital known for its quality care in meeting the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of patients. Today St. John's Rehab has 160 inpatient beds serving 2,600 patients from across the province. In addition, the hospital has a comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation program that handles more than 36,000 outpatient visits per year.
