Toronto Arts Council Foundation was established in 1995 to serve as the fundraising and awareness raising arm of Toronto Arts Council, which delivers annual grants to 240 organizations, 150 unique initiatives and 190 Toronto artists. In 2001, the Foundation began implementing long-term initiatives to heighten arts awareness and generate new arts sector operating revenues from a wide range of sources. Programs include: Toronto Arts Coalition, Toronto Arts Council Foundation Awards, Toronto Arts Fund, Toronto Arts Online and ArtsWeek.
