The MAAP (Management of Abandoned Aggregate Properties) Program seeks a ‘Field Technician’ to assist with the rehabilitation of abandoned aggregate properties (former pits & quarries) across the Province of Ontario. To date, over 5.7 million dollars have been spent restoring former pits and quarries to productive uses such as agriculture, prairies, wetlands and forests.
