Company Description:

Our client provides products to a global market, and is looking for a skilled General Machinist to work in their busy environment.

Job Description of General Machinist:

• Responsible for machining forgings, bar stock, plates into various company products
• Cutting metal to conform to the machining drawing, utilizing various machine tools
• Set up, run, and testing machines
• Set up tools prior to operation

Qualifications of General Machinist:

• Minimum High School Education, some College or Post-Secondary an asset
• Minimum 3 years machine shop experience
• Must be able to interpret machining drawings
• Work with close allowances typically .001" to .005"
• Familiar with the use of standard machine shop instruments (i.e. micrometers, verniers DRO's etc)

• Machine Shop: 3 years
