We are a luxury limousine company located in Scarborough looking for an individual to join our team as a dispatch manager. This is a full time contract position that may require some weekends.

This is a position that requires a flexible schedule, critical thinking, multitasking, and stellar customer service skills.

Requirements:

• MUST have 5+ years experience in transportation, dispatch, limousine, taxi, and motor coach charters
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• MUST be able to multi task and possess strong problem solving skills
• MUST be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Flexible availability( This job will include days, evening, night, weekend shifts)
• Management experience is an asset
• Superior customer service skills, resolution and relationship building
• Effective listening and strong communications skills
• Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently and follow directions
• Sales experience and the ability to up-sell is an asset
• Experience with dealing with high end clientele

Responsibilities:

• Answering incoming calls
• Communicate with drivers and customers through telephone and email
• Schedule and dispatch vehicles according to workload
• Schedule multiple car arrangements for clientele
• Must be able to work under pressure, in a fast and timely matter
• Monitor flights, vehicles, and passenger activity
• Follow up with clients to ensure client retention
• Problem solve quickly, with the ability to deal with frantic clientele in a professional and calm manner
• Stay abreast of the administrative needs of the dispatch desk
• Trains and assists employees to enhance their performance, and development
• Troubleshoots and resolve issues effectively and professionally
• Works in cross functional team to minimize service issues as needed
• Continually seeks ways to improve day-to-day processes for improved operational efficiency
• Opening and closing of office
• Other duties as assigned
• Starting @ $19.00 per hour
