Job Description:
Our client, a is seeking an experienced and results-driven salesperson to join their energetic team.
They are in search of a Sales Associate to focus on new account development in the wholesale food and beverage sector.
Job Responsibilities:
Require a Sales Representative with a hunter sales mentality, to generate new revenue and meet and exceed sales revenue targets.
Developing and qualifying prospective sales leads within territory assigned to drive additional sales opportunities, either by cold-calling or network lead generation.
Establishes accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential clients.
Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential target markets.
Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
Services existing accounts by obtaining orders, recommending further products, resolving customer concerns by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Provides historical records by maintaining records on area demographics and customer sales.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Job Requirements:
Individual must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
Proven track record, and minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in sales and especially within the food and beverage industry a definite asset.
Ability to work remotely.
Bilingual or multi-lingual ability, a definite asset.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Aptitude for prospecting new business, developing Client relationships, negotiation, and persuasion.
Highly motivated, determined, and target driven.
Expert in time management and personal organization.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but may accept relevant experience.
