Job Description:
Accounting Manager
Burlington, ON
Our TorontoJobs.ca client, a well-established registered investment management firm, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join their team.
They are a family-oriented organization based in Burlington, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage fund and corporate audits and ensure compliance with various other regulations.
Analyze and validate financial data, including reviewing and creating spreadsheets.
Utilize QuickBooks for financial entries and monthly reporting.
Help to oversee the Funds' weekly and monthly NAVs, ensuring accurate transactional activity.
Support the compliance regime, including updating the Compliance Manual and regulatory reporting.
Participate in additional tasks and assist the Management Team as required.
Qualifications:
CPA, CA designation preferred.
2-7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
Strong proficiency in Excel and an understanding of QuickBooks.
Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Effective English communication skills, both written and verbal.
