Supervise the Accounting Manager, providing guidance on bookkeeping transactions and payment processing.
Assist the President, Vice President, and Treasurer with financial matters as needed.
Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual financial reports.
Handle bank deposits and wire transfers efficiently.
Assist the Treasurer with annual audits and payment allocations.
Coordinate tax filings and respond to tax notices in collaboration with a CPA firm.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
Certification: CPA preferred.
Experience: 8+ years of experience in public accounting, with expertise in both tax and accounting.
Industry Experience: Knowledge of real estate and trusts is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and familiarity with QuickBooks.
Soft Skills: Strong ability to work independently on confidential tasks.
Leadership: Capable of supervising an Accounting Manager handling bookkeeping tasks.
