Role Overview:
As a Design Engineer, you will take the lead in translating technical specifications into comprehensive design solutions. You’ll collaborate with engineering and project management teams to deliver high-quality, purpose-built designs that meet customer needs.

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:
  • Create and refine designs based on project specifications, ensuring compliance with all technical requirements.
  • Conduct design reviews and oversee the approval process for drawings and production documents.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and project management, to maintain alignment with project goals and budgets.
  • Perform calculations to support design decisions and ensure structural integrity.
  • Assist with technical proposals by providing engineering input during the estimation phase.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Structural).
  • At least 10 years of experience in custom equipment design or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD 2D.
  • Knowledge of structural codes and standards (e.g., CSA-16, ANSI/AISC 360).
  • Strong understanding of welding symbols, GD&T, and mechanical system integration.
  • Ability to work on-site and travel throughout North America.
