Job Description:

We are a well-established copier dealer based in Mississauga, seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires technical proficiency, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery and installation of copiers and printers, including setup and configuration according to user requirements.
  • Train users on proper equipment use to prevent unnecessary damage or wear.
  • Perform onsite routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Respond to emergency calls for equipment repair, including diagnosing, repairing faults, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Provide in-shop repair services: rebuilding copiers, printers, and components.
  • Efficiently read and summarize service manuals for troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate service updates to management.
 
 

Job Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of electronics, mechanics, computers, and networking (including routers).
  • Time Management: Ability to work independently, prioritize urgent calls, and manage time effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Self-motivated and logical thinker who can analyze issues and develop solutions.
  • Customer Service: Personable and able to communicate clearly and concisely with clients, including providing remote assistance.

Required:
  • Valid Driver’s License – Travel within the city and occasional out-of-town calls are required
  • English Language Proficiency – Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Physical Ability – Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform bending tasks.
  • Criminal Record Check – Current criminal record check is required
